Upon arrival in Kalambaka, a town located at the foothills of Meteora, we visit a workshop with handmade Christian icons of Saints. Then, we ascend to the mythical Meteora, one of the most impressive areas in Greece, adorned with towering rocks and mystical scenery. Here, we visit two famous Meteora monasteries, where you will receive a guided tour of the unique building techniques and the monks' lifestyle.
After the tour, we return to the quaint town of Kalambaka, where you can relish the delicious Greek cuisine in one of the traditional tavernas and enjoy free time for a leisurely stroll.
